Elise received her Bachelor’s degree at the New Hampshire Institute of Art in 2015. She has spent the last ten summers teaching darkroom photography & printmaking, as well as directing the arts and photography programs at Hidden Valley Camp in Freedom, Maine.
During the school year she’s spent time as a Behavioral Health Professional in an elementary school, and a mentor and crew leader at a therapeutic residential community in Vermont. Elise is passionate about community building, experienced based education, making photographs in the darkroom, and helping people figure out the way they learn best. She likes to spend her free time collecting interesting rocks, ice skating on lakes, jumping into waves in the ocean, making things, and adventuring with friends and family.
