Social Studies & Wilderness Skills Teacher
Raised in Midcoast Maine, Adam began his career in education working in experiential/outdoor education settings for schools and organizations across the United States. Adam earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University (California) and a master's degree in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire and has taught in K-12 and college settings for over 10 years. Adam is a licensed EMT, a Maine Guide, an Instructor with the American Canoe Association, and teaches Wilderness First Aid with Wilderness Medical Associates. Diverse and unique life experiences have led Adam to feel deeply curious about the world and eager to share his passion and energy for transformative learning experiences with students.
