Adam Williams
English Teacher, Outdoor Programs Director
Raised in Midcoast Maine, Adam was a product of public schools where he excelled in athletics before beginning his career in education working in experiential/outdoor education settings for schools and organizations across the United States. Adam earned a bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from Sonoma State University (California) and a master's degree in Outdoor Education from the University of New Hampshire. Adam's many interests have led to working as a carpenter, an arborist and a commercial fisherman among many other ventures. Adam is a licensed EMT, a Maine Guide, an Instructor with the American Canoe Association, The National Outdoor Leadership School (NOLS) and teaches Wilderness First Aid with Wilderness Medical Associates. Adam is proud to be a founding faculty member of the Ecology Learning Center and loves working with the amazing students and families at the ELC and is committed to growing and enhancing the student experience in this vibrant community.
