Annual Appeal
The Ecology Learning Center provides an excellent free public education for 130 students in grades 9-12 in rural Maine.
Our fundraising goal for the 2025-2026 school year is $30,000 to sustain our place-based, real-world learning programs. This includes outdoor learning - hiking, camping, cross country skiing, mountain biking, canoeing, kayaking, and volunteering at local nonprofits. These outdoor learning experiences build confidence, resilience, and healthy living habits.

Capital Campaign COMPLETE!
The Ecology Learning Center became the proud owner of the Clifford Arts & Student Center (formerly Unity Center for Performing Arts) in 2024, thanks to the generosity of Unity Environmental University and Unity Foundation. To maintain and fully realize the capacity of this beautiful 8,000 square foot facility, we raised $150,000. Thank you to all who donated to the capital campaign!
