AED Fundraising

Help ELC purchase two AEDs!
At ELC, we train students in wilderness and remote first aid so that they will be prepared to manage an emergency and help someone in need. These life saving skills are an essential aspect of our “hands on learning” approach. To date, our Outdoor Programs Director, Adam Williams, has trained over 50 students through 3 Wilderness First Aid (WFA) courses, and a Wilderness Medicine Workshop. In October he will pilot a tuition fee WFA course with the support of Teens To Trails.
The ELC has a unique opportunity to purchase two AED (Automated External Defibrillator) devices at a reduced cost from the AED Grant Program. These life saving devices will allow trained individuals to intervene in a cardiac event and offer emergency care on our campus. We are asking for support from our community to purchase these 2 life saving devices. The goal is to raise $2500 by October 30.

Capital Campaign COMPLETE!

The Ecology Learning Center became the proud owner of the Clifford Arts & Student Center (formerly Unity Center for Performing Arts) in 2024, thanks to the generosity of Unity Environmental University and Unity Foundation. To maintain and fully realize the capacity of this beautiful 8,000 square foot facility, we raised $150,000. Thank you to all who donated to the capital campaign!
