Every school day begins with focused lessons in English language arts and Mathematics. We aim to develop strong readers, writers, and problem-solvers; these foundational skills are critical to student success in all high school coursework, as well as future academic and professional work.
We challenge students to roll up their sleeves and serve the local community through volunteer work and apprenticeships.
We believe in real-world learning. Students are motivated and engaged when learning applies to their own lives – when the problems they study and solve are hands-on, connected to the here and now. Our goal is to prepare students for college and careers while focusing on rural community development and environmental stewardship.
