Kate Coseo is thrilled to join the Ecology Learning Center as one of our science and math teachers. In addition to having a passion for fostering connections between math, science, and the natural world, Kate is deeply committed to sustainable living and wilderness exploration. Before moving to Unity, Kate spent many years sailing, teaching, and exploring wilderness areas in northern British Columbia and Alaska. Kate brings with her over a decade of teaching experience at both the high school and collegiate level. She earned a B.Sc. in Natural Resource Conservation from the University of British Columbia and a M.A.T from the University of Alaska Southeast. Outside of the classroom, Kate can be found working in her garden, hiking with her dog, and exploring beautiful places with her family.
