Misha Sanborn moved to Maine 6 years ago from Virginia with her family. She completed a Bachelor’s Degree in English and Master’s in Special Education from the University of Mary Washington. In addition to teaching, Misha spent several years as a full-time studio potter. When Misha is not adventuring with her two boys, she enjoys reading, gardening, cooking, hiking, camping and making pottery.

Misha believes that education is best as a collaboration with students to create an enriching and relevant experience. She believes in an educational environment where students are encouraged to take risks and make mistakes in order to learn and grow.
