Nicky comes to the Ecology Learning Center with experience working with students in a variety of settings from farms to classrooms–including, mostly recently, a special education program at Oceanside High School. She has also enjoyed managing projects for a municipality, working for an assortment of farms, and selling cheese. She earned a B.S. in Environmental Studies with an additional major in Music and minor in Sustainable Agriculture and Food Systems from Michigan State University. Currently working towards her M.Ed in Special Education at University of Maine, Nicky is eager to bring her vision of inclusion to students at ELC. Nicky gets excited talking about ways to engage people in meaningful learning opportunities, building community, growing things, and outdoor adventures.
