Ouda (o-da) Baxter is an artist and educator with an M.A.T. from Maine College of Art and a B.A. from Bowdoin College. With roots in both Maine and in a global upbringing across various countries in Africa and Eastern Europe, she is both at home when traveling and in the woods and lakes of Maine. She can be found swimming in lakes and streams, and also taking long exploring hikes with her dog/adventure pup, Hazel. She enjoys gardening, especially time observing bees and butterflies, and often stops to smell and touch every flower on walks. She will be fulfilling the role of Magician at The Ecology Learning Center- teaching Printmaking and Fiber Arts, gardening and planting a Dye Garden, supporting students as an Ed Tech, doing some admin, and very excitedly co-managing the Cliff Arts Center for concerts and community events, and integrating into the community here in Unity.
