Born and raised in midcoast Maine, Anthony is an avid outdoorsman. A proud father and grandfather, he has worked with children and teenagers as a Maine camp counselor, teaching horsemanship and water skiing. He is a life-long coach of basketball and soccer. He enjoyed sharing his love of snowboarding and skiing with his children, nieces, and nephews. Anthony worked for General Dynamics’ Electric Boat submarine division before starting his own business, Torrey Tree Service, where he spent 25 years as a licensed arborist in Connecticut and Rhode Island specializing in high end landscaping and tree work. He also served his community as a licensed EMT. When he returned to Maine to retire, Anthony designed his lakeside home, milled his own lumber, and built his design into reality. He enjoys gardening, cooking, painting, listening to music, and playing his guitar.

He started his career as an educator through the Maine Department of Education’s collaboration with EMCC. Anthony is excited to join the team at the Ecology Learning Center to combine his lifetime of experiences and passion for learning to help students reach their full potential.
